Laurell McManus, owner of McManus HRD Ltd, started her career in financial operations, gaining extensive experience in setting up and consolidating new business units involving teams of up to 500 people.

Following a successful career change into management consulting, training and development, Laurell established McManus HRD Ltd, (formerly known as Laureola Ltd) in 2002 to provide proven expertise in the fields of behavioural change and communication - from the operational frontline through to director level. Her positive attitude, insight and pragmatic approach enable her and her network of associates either to work on a one-to-one basis, or to facilitate groups to inspire practical solutions for improving personal and business performance.

McManus HRD has worked with clients in Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Hong Kong, as well as Britain. Its first was the London Borough of Bromley, which asked McManus HRD to provide call centre training to all its representatives and supervisors after their business remit had been broadened.

More recent clients include National Accident Help Line, Redemptions Publishers, Ashridge Business School and Croydon College.
