McManus HRD Ltd, owned by Laurell Anne McManus (formerly Hector), offers training for Human Resource Professionals. We primarily devote ourselves to the areas of performance management, executive coaching and interim management, in line with the principles of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Fresh perspective
We have worked successfully in a variety of sectors, including energy, legal, health, transport, financial and local government. We operate in accordance with industry best practice and stay abreast of modern management teaching and techniques. We hold to a philosophy of 'best value' - our clients' objectives are our focus at all times.

McManus HRD Ltd brings a fresh perspective not readily available through in-house initiatives or consultants with a conventional make-up. This is particularly advantageous when a fresh, creative approach to complex performance issues is required in a business context.

Continual evaluation
We provide most of our services in the client's chosen environment, using suitably qualified associates. The learning methods and materials employed are tailored to specific needs. They often include a combination of classroom training, workshops, distance learning and support, and/or follow-up one-to-one sessions. Some activities may even take place outdoors.

All our services are being continually evaluated, so that they are delivered to our own very high standards and so that changing needs or circumstances are quickly identified and acted on.
